After a distinguished career in management with the Internal Revenue Service for over 35 years, Wayne Beyer, CPA, has opened a private practice in Waretown, NJ. Wayne brings to his practice years of experience as a Revenue Agent auditing both individual and business returns, instructor and course developer of both technical and managerial IRS training courses, and as a key member of numerous National task forces and redesign teams.

Wayne received the Presidential Hammer Award for Innovation (for his involvement on the National IRS Redesign of the examination process), the Chief Operating Officer’s Award (for his involvement in the design and implementation of the Examination Quality Auditing Standards and the Chief Compliance Officer’s Award (For his actions in the development compliance initiatives to address compliance issues involving off shore transactions).

Wayne was a Senior Manager and Executive at both the District and Area levels. He held positions of increasing responsible as the Assistant Chief of the Examination Division in Manhattan, Chief of the Examination Division Providence Rhode Island, Chief Examination Division Newark New Jersey, IRS Commissioner’s Representative for the State of New Jersey, and as a Territory Manager (Examination) for Area 2.
